Make sure to have your DSL account number or phone number handy. Your installation kit includes your modem or gateway, filters, and any necessary cables. Connect filters and cables. Install line filters. Use single-port filters on any wall jacks being used except for the wall jack being used by the gateway. Use a dual-port filter on the wall jack used by the gateway. Connect a phone cable between the phone port on the gateway and the phone or device sharing the dual-port filter.
Connect the yellow Ethernet cable between the modem's Ethernet port and your computer's Ethernet port on your PC. Connect the black power adapter to the power port on the modem and plug it into an electrical outlet. Once your modem has power, wait for the Power , Broadband , and Service lights to turn solid green. The Activity light will flicker. Activate your service and get connected.
