I found it does work. Yes, it is an impact, it is not an electrical shock. I am also using a numbing cream, but I am not convinced that it is really needed. Gainswave uses numbing cream, so perhaps the impacts are not strong enough. I can feel the impacts in the hand holding the target, so the shockwave must be penetrating the entire thickness of the penis. Maybe the numbing cream at Gainswave is more to keep you from getting hard while the sweet lady is working on you.
The program I use is the bottom left icon of a pelvis structure. I have found no way to change any of the programs. Dobaldo, I don't need numbing cream generally, but when I've used the head with the black applicator some cream might be nice.
That one hurts. The only icon that lets you change the programs is the one with the man with stretched out arm on the bottom. I tried it for the first time last night. I used the head that came attached to the machine. I used setting 12 for both P and F.
My member definitely felt the impact. As it got closed to the head, it was sometimes hard to handle, but I grinned and bared it. I thought the treatment seemed a bit quick to me. I did on each side and then to both crura. Any advice from anyone will definitely be welcomed. That's what the medical studies show. Thanks Dick This company says twice per week for six weeks treating five areas.
The video shows the treatment. I could not find a price for the machine, but it looks like professional grade and therefore expensive. I can't upload it here, at least I don't know how.
To Dick. I changed the tips, and it is stronger for sure. Thank you for telling me. Do you guys set the setting to 12p and 12f? Also, how long do your sessions usually take? I thought it would be about minutes, but it seems to be much quicker. I have been using the icon in the lower-left corner. The machine runs for 2, impacts and stops, leaving the fan on for cooling. I haven't time it, but I guess the total time is only about 5 minutes. Thanks for the info Doblado All the videos and sites With information I saw, seemed to say the sessions would take around minutes.
Which was leading me to believe they are doing more then I would be interested to hear what other like Dick say about this. Thanks again. If you're doing 15 pulses per second you can deliver in a few minutes, but if you are doing only it will take minutes. And if so, how would I turn down the number of pulses per? Thanks by the way for your response. Doblado, What kind of numbing cream do you use?
It is expensive, and I will not get a refill. I talked with the pharmacist and apparently, the BLT mixture is for fast, medium and long-lasting numbing. The lidocaine takes about 20 minutes to work and I think it does just as well as the expensive BLT for this purpose. One question to all: does it work? I'm seeing a lot of settings and such here, but nobody is saying "hey, I'm hard again!
Does it work? I just complete my third session with it. Is it okay to use the adapter that is more rounded?
It seems to be slightly more tolerable then the one that came attached to the handle slightly concave. I've been using it for a month, twice per week. And I am seeing improvement. Like most things in life, it is gradual. Anonymous, Look at the links on the blog to the medical literature. It shows it works.
Before shockwave I could not get hard without medicine, now I can, but not long enough for sex. I use trimix injections and used to have to use,. I have a venous leak and I'm guessing that men without that have found much better results than me.
Hey Dick, Which adapter are you using? Mine that came attached to the handle was slightly rounded inward. Thanks cwolfman. Question: Are you supposed to leave the blue caps on during the treatment? I have been removing them, but I saw a video on YouTube where they were left on. I assume leave the blue cap on because it has all those "dimples" on it. The videos I have seen also show the cap on, but none of the videos use this machine. I sure wish there was a manual for the machine.
Hello Doblado, I have a pretty good manual that came with mine. I would be more then happy to share it with all of you. I would just need to know where to upload the file, or an email address. Hello all. I am wondering on the progress of those who purchased this machine. Does it actually perform as advertised? Have any of you experienced improvement from its use? I ask because I am looking to buy one, but obviously don't want to spend a small fortune if it doesn't really work.
Thank you for your time and advice. I think it is helping. I use it for Peyronie's and I see marginal improvement. Thank you, Doblado! It is good to know that it is helping. Some is better than none, that's for sure.
I just got my machine today no manual I was wondering if cwolfman could email his manual to gschraer optonline. I could use any help i can get Thank you all for your comments and help.
I have the machine and no idea the best way to use it. Hopefully directions will clear it up May I also acquire a copy of the manual from you?
Much appreciated. Thank you! Hello all, do you have any results with this device? Good evening Can send it please to reneur hotmail. Hi Dick, thanks for this blog, read it all and it is very helpful. Have a lot of fellow feeling with your correspondents. Few things to say which may help:- 1. Have just purchased a Ginha HL Actuators are very different in form and size which affects optimal use.
Some have concave plungers which tend to concentrate the shockwave, some are convex which will spread the wave. Some are bigger than others, and that will spread the shockwave mJ over a greater area.
Having looked at the Srini paper, I notice that they use 2Hz pulses per minute and at a shock pressure of 0. This seems to me to be what I should use. By my calculation I will get that using the 20mm plunger at a P value of 2 and an F value of 2. May be wrong but I don't think so. Also Srini et Al use a count of on each of the 5 locations giving a total treatment around 15 min with gaps between locations.
Don't know how much the concave plunger will concentrate the shockwave, but I have opted for that as I have a relatively small target. Have to agree with you cwolfman the not quite pain is almost more than I can bear. No apparent damage but! I definitely have to avoid pressure on hip bones, and I use the caps on. PMnew CWolfman would you be so kind and send me a copy of the manual you have for the shockwave machine.
My email address is justfu hotmail. Thank You PMnew. Hello from Chile!! Can you send it to me please? Just got it and i don't know how to use it.. Gonzalo brujildo gmail.
Hi All, I bought an HL some time ago, and like everyone else, mine came without any instructions. So since I got it I have been looking for info on the best settings for ED.
This blog has been most helpful. I would be grateful for a copy of the user manual. Please send it to johnnywood40 outlook. Dick, I bought the Shockwave Model No. Can the gun be replaced, if so where can I order a new one. Hello cwolfman. Greetings from Colombia!! Can you send me the manual please? I have just received it too and I don't know how to use it Kindest regards!!! Thank you so much in advance. Me too, me too! I also bought one of these devices Ginha HL and am a bit perplexed by the various attachments and options.
Therefore, I would be extremely grateful if someone could send me the manual that cwolfman mentioned adresse gmx. Thanks in advance! I just bough this machine Shockwave Model SW14 and it camewith out instructions.
Can someone please send them to me at robertguad cox. Also what kind of gel does this machine use? Post a Comment. Friday, August 23, Review of this inexpensive shockwave machine. It arrived very fast, but without instructions.
I had to cajole the customer service for a week until they sent some. They are kind of cryptic. The first difference between this and more expensive machines is that it doesn't have a full color screen, just a monochrome readout. One nice thing is most of the heads come with a blue plastic cover, so you don't need to cover them with a condom to keep the gel out. It is also very small, and self contained in the box. The handle has a button to start the pulses, while my other machine has a foot pedal, which was a bad design.
There are several preset combinations of Hz and mJ to choose from, and there are buttons to change the Hz and mJ, but they only work when the 'general' mode is chosen. The bad thing is that the handle for this machine looks like the one I had to replace twice with my other machine.
The way this machine is designed is that it tops out at mJ and it doesn't let you do high Hz and high mJ at the same time. My guess is that that they figured out that the this is what causes the handles to fail so they limit it. That sucks because I like to use mJ. Having to use low Hz also means the treatments will take longer to perform.
